Hi my name is Lyndy and I love fabric and am a self confessed fabricaholic. Stitchbird Fabrics was born out of a desire to see gorgeous fabrics which I had seen online being available in New Zealand.

The name Stitchbird Fabrics is an extension of the name The Stitchbird, the name under which I have been making and selling my handcrafts. The Stitchbird is a native of New Zealand and its Maori name Hihi, means rays of sunshine. A very good name I feel because I hope that the purchases you make here will brighten your day!
